Lawsuit involving reality TV show pilot for constable's office settled
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A lawsuit has finally been settled involving Constable John Bonaventura and Clark County.
The lawsuit was tied to a video that surfaced in 2012 showing constable deputies cursing as part of a reality TV show pilot.
Two former Las Vegas constable officers filed the suit, claiming Bonaventura pressured them to lie about the video to the Clark County Commission and when that did not happen, they were demoted.
The former officers have settled the lawsuit for $415,000. Clark County will be required to pay $10,000 and the constable's office will pay the rest.
