Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Community leaders came together on Tuesday to address addiction problems that many local citizens struggle with in Las Vegas.
They're hoping to rebuild a facility that helps give locals sober living.
Freedom House is a non-profit organization that was built to offer sober living for those in recovery from substance abuse.
It allows them to learn how to live with a quality of life they've forgotten or maybe never experienced before.
That's why county leaders put out a call for community support on Tuesday, at a breakfast meeting at Lou's Diner on South Decatur.
They want anyone or any business to pitch in and help makeover the 100-bed facility.
This effort already has the support of the county, Las Vegas police and many Las Vegas businesses.
Freedom House has been around since October of 2010.
