Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a string of bank robberies around the area.
Police received a call for an attempted bank robbery of the Bank of America at 5950 West Sahara at around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Then a short time later, a call came in of a robbery at the Wells Fargo at 1007 South Rainbow.
A third call was then made to police from the US Bank at 255 South Rainbow for another attempted robbery.
Police spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted to pull the driver over, but a pursuit began. Officers attempted to use spike strips to stop the vehicle. The spikes caused damage to the rear tire but the vehicle didn't stop.
The suspect vehicle tried making a u-turn at Paradise and Karen, causing a crash with a Las Vegas patrol vehicle. The suspect was then taken into custody, he has been identified as Kenyatta Stepps.
The FBI and Las Vegas police are both investigating the situation.
No injuries were reported during any of the robberies or the pursuit.
