Las Vegas man killed in Lincoln County crash on U.S. 93
Lincoln County, NV (KTNV) -- A 30-year-old Las Vegas man was killed in a crash early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 3 a.m., a black 2005 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling northbound on U.S. 93 passing mile marker 3 in Lincoln County.
The driver, Dexter Henry, allowed the pickup to drift right, partially leaving the paved roadway. He steered the vehicle to the left, re-entering the roadway.
The pickup then crossed the center line and the driver over-corrected, steering to the right. The pickup rotated clockwise while crossing the northbound lane and entered the east shoulder in a broadside skid where it overturned.
Henry, who was unrestrained, was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This marks Nevada Highway Patrol-Southern Command's 42nd fatal crash for this year.
