San Diego, CA (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas man has been arrested after he was found sleeping in the Jetway at a San Diego airport.
At approximately 6 a.m. on Aug. 24, an individual wearing an airline safety vest was found on a jet bridge at Gate 46 at San Diego International Airport.
When questioned, he exited the jet bridge and entered the terminal. He then attempted to board United Airlines flight 1034 bound for Houston at Gate 38.
At approximately 7:15 a.m., he was apprehended by Harbor Police and taken into custody for questioning and further investigation.
Harbor Police conducted a full search of ramps and both aircraft parked at Gates 38 and 46 with negative results. Both aircraft and gates were cleared to continue operations.
The individual, 22-year-old Scot Jordan Fenton, was found in possession of a Delta Airlines boarding pass for flight 1967 that arrived into San Diego from Atlanta on Aug. 23 at approximately 7 p.m.
The Airport Authority is working with Harbor Police to investigate how the incident occurred.
