Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The checkered flag has fallen and NASCAR weekend has ended here in Las Vegas.
Tens of thousands of fans are now packing up and heading out of town.
It's a different day, but the same results at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Brad Keselowski won the Kobalt 400 not just about 24 hours after he won the Boyd Gaming 300.
The race got an exciting ending as Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran out of gas on the last lap allowing Keselowski to make the pass and win the race sweeping the weekend here.
An estimated 125,000 fans went to the track over the weekend from out of town.
They were joined by about 25,000 locals and all of them combined generated about $146 million for the local economy.
While the NASCAR fans and drivers are on their way out of town, the money flowing in from racing fans isn't slowing down any time soon.
