Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Jewish community is watching the war in Israel very closely.
Some of them plan to fly to the war zone next week to bring supplies and hope.
Members of Temple Beth Sholom are collecting hygiene products for Israeli soldiers and coloring books and crayons for the kids.
"One of the untold stories of these wars is that the children spend 12 hours at a time in these bomb shelters. There is little they can do. We want them to know we are thinking of them," said Rabbi Felipe Goodman.
Rabbi Goodman is leading the mission trip to Israel next week.
Local community members said they want the Israelis to know they're not fighting alone.
