Kingman man arrested for burglary and trafficking in stolen property

Kingman, AZ (KTNV) -- Robert Allen Steed, 55, of Kingman was arrested Tuesday for burglary and trafficking in stolen property.

Steed was arrested after Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a burglary report on Hearne Avenue.

The victim told deputies that his truck and several items including a swamp cooler, fence posts, bunk bed frames and a black table based.

Neighbors told the deputies that they saw the items being removed in a truck bed trailer pulled by an older white truck.

Deputies contacted a recycling center in Kingman and discovered that Steed had brought in the stolen items.

Deputies then visited Steed at his residence. The man admitted to the deputies that he had taken the property to the recycling center. He also told the deputies that he had been told that the stuff was abandoned.

Steed was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
