(KTNV) -- A Houston seafood restaurant has a new rule some parents are finding just a little bit fishy.
The restaurant has banned kids after 7 p.m.
But not all kids. Only those under the age of 8.
La Fisheria announced the policy on its Facebook page on Monday.
The management says that they are still a family-friendly restaurant. But, a spokesperson says the restaurant is kind of small and regulars have complained about rambunctious children.
That is not good enough for some customers.
The staff says they are understanding and many have young children themselves.
The restaurant welcomes children of any age for lunch or an early dinner. But, it will be a better experience for customers if nighttime is grown-up time.
The restaurant is owned by Mexican reality TV star and chef Aquiles Chavez.
