Man killed in fight on Aug. 4 in vacant lot in east Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One man is dead and another one under arrest after a fight broke out in a vacant lot near Palm Street and Center Drive on Aug. 4.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Israel Benitez-Bererra and Adam "Tank" Hilty were fighting over a blanket.

The two began wrestling and then the fight became more serious, according to the witnesses.
At one point, Hilty was on the ground on all fours and Benitez-Bererra punched him in the side and back multiple times.
Hilty allegedly told Benitez-Bererra that he was done and asked him to stop.
Benitez-Bererra stopped and laid down and went to sleep. Hilty complained about his stomach hurting but then also laid down.
Hilty's death was discovered after residents in the area called about another fight that happened after the confrontation between Benitez-Bererra and Hilty.
Everyone had left by the time police arrived but they found Benitez-Bererra still asleep and Hilty deceased.
Benitez-Berrera told police he did not know what happened and was allowed to leave.
