High school students help clean up Las Vegas neighborhood

CREATED Sep. 28, 2013

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Some high school kids spent their Saturday morning cleaning up one part of the Valley.

Councilman Steve Ross was there with the Northwest Youth Empowerment Council and a few others to make a difference at the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center near Buffalo and Elkhorn.

They started at 8 a.m. Saturday morning, and didn't waste any time getting to work.

Other groups helped out as well, including several student clubs from Arbor View High School and Boy Scout troops.
