Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It's been a difficult two days for the friends and families of three teenagers hit while crossing Blue Diamond on Saturday night.
14-year-old Helen Liu was killed and now her friends want to remember her. They've set up a memorial near where the crash happened.
The memorial contains stuffed animals, flowers, photos and personal messages to Helen.
"I'm here because I feel awful for the family, they live in our community, and I would like to see us help them and also figured out a way to get this situation figured out," said Desiree Maloney, neighbor.
Police said Helen was killed while crossing Blue Diamond with two girlfriends.
Many residents who live near the intersection said the area is just too dangerous. There are no marked crosswalks or traffic lights, and the speed limit is 55 miles per hour.
"Because there's so much housing being developed here, this area needs to have the speed limit lowered to at least 35," said Janet Denton, neighbor.
The two other girls struck remain in critical condition.
