Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- Clark County first responders had a rare chance on Thursday to do some extrication training on new cars.
It was part of the Automotive Service & Repair Week, which is holding an expo and conference at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
The firefighters were given a couple hours to find the best way to get into the vehicles, which never happens in a real emergency.
One reason the training is so valuable is that new cars have many more airbags that need to be located.
If they're accidentally detonated, they can injure firefighters or the person who's trapped in the car.
