Female suspect sought after alleged YMCA car burglaries
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- City of Las Vegas deputy city marshals are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in connection with recent car burglaries.
They happened at the Durango Hills YMCA located at 3521 North Durango Drive.
Three burglaries happened on Aug. 7 and 8 and so far this year, there have been a total of four burglaries at the YMCA parking lot.
Purses have been taken and the victims' credit cards have been used for multiple unauthorized transactions.
Karin Vrown's purse was stolen while she was taking her son to a swimming class. She said she was shocked to discover no one saw it happen, "She must have done it so fast."
The person of interest is described as a white female, between the age of 30 and 40, between 5 feet and 7 inches and 5 feet and 10 inches tall, and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds.

When parking a vehicle, never leave valuables such as purses, electronics or packages visible inside the car. Always take valuables with you or lock them in the trunk.
