Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The extreme heat may have tourists rethinking their plans in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Strip looked like a ghost town on Wednesday afternoon.
Many tourists are opting to stay inside air conditioned casinos, instead of venturing out into the scorching heat.
"It's too hot. It's melting. We're from Canada, so this kind of temperature is way beyond what we experience up there, even on our hottest days," one tourist told Action News.
If you're thinking about going outside for long periods of time, make sure you drink lots of water. Heat stroke can set in quickly if you're not staying cool and hydrated.
