Drivers urged to avoid intersection at Twain and Swenson

Drivers urged to avoid intersection at Twain and Swenson

By Krista Hostetler. CREATED Aug 14, 2013

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Drivers are being encouraged to avoid the intersection of Twain Avenue and Swenson Street on Wednesday.

Clark County workers will be replacing a traffic signal pole.

The intersection will temporarily be a four-way stop until the work is complete at about midnight.

Also, Twain will be reduced to one travel lane in each direction through the intersection. A right-turn lane for traffic headed south on Swenson will be closed at the intersection.

This work is expected to significantly slow the flow of traffic through the intersection.

If possible, drivers going east or west should use Desert Inn Road or Flamingo Road. Drivers going north or south should try to use Maryland Parkway or Paradise Road.
