Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The driver who police said hit and killed a man on U.S. 95 near Summerlin Parkway, reportedly confessed to taking a number of prescription drugs before the crash.

Police said 22-year-old Gary Adair, Jr. slammed into 38-year-old Kadar Brown while he was changing a tire on the side of the road.

According to the arrest report, Adair admitted to shooting up heroin that day, as well as taking oxycodone, Xanax and Percocet.
