Downtown Grand now taking reservations for opening
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Reservations are now being accepted for Downtown Grand, located at 3rd Street and Ogden Avenue. The hotel-casino will open its doors to the public on Oct. 27.
A grand opening celebration has been scheduled for Nov. 12.
Downtown Grand will feature 634 stylish rooms, nearly 600 brand-new slot machines, 30 table games and a variety of food and beverage options.
Hotel rooms will range from 350 to 1,200 square feet and will feature flat-screen televisions, pillow-top mattresses and high-thread count linens.
The casino will boast 25,000 square feet of gaming space and a full-featured sports book.
There will be 17 unique bars and restaurants including PICNIC, an urban rooftop pool experience; Stewart + Ogden, a three-meal restaurant featuring menus by Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla; and the MOB Bar, which is relocating from its current Downtown3rd location.
The Downtown Grand was formerly named Lady Luck, which closed in February 2006. It is the centerpiece of Downtown3rd, a new neighborhood and entertainment district in downtown Las Vegas.
The hotel-casino will encourage its guests to actually leave their property and enjoy some of the other attractions that are nearby such as the Mob Museum.
Downtown Grand is owned by the CIM Group. Fifth Street Gaming is the property's gaming license holder and casino operator.
