Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Business is booming in downtown Las Vegas and it doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
In just a few weeks, the Downtown Container Park will open on East Fremont Street. It will be home to bars, restaurants and shops in converted shipping containers.
The unique office and retail space between 7th and 8th Streets is the latest development by the Downtown Project, an offshoot of the revitalization efforts spearheaded by Zappos CEO Tony Hseih.
Some space is already being used by the tech community to reach out to non-profit groups like the Paralyzed Veterans of Nevada, helping them maximize their outreach through social media.
The Downtown Project is spending $350 million to revitalize the area.
Developers are hoping the park will open for business within next few weeks.
