Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nevada Congresswoman Dina Titus has spent the past two days on the U.S. border to see the immigration crisis firsthand.
She spoke from McAllen, Texas, on Friday and said the problem could impact Nevada.
"We don't have a direct border, but certainly we are close to Arizona, close to California. People who come that route sometimes come up to Las Vegas when our economy is booming. It's a place to come seek jobs."
Titus and several colleagues have been touring the border and processing facilities. She said it's a complicated issue that won't be solved with a band-aid.
