Detectives seek public's help locating murder suspect

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- On Thursday, Las Vegas homicide detectives responded to the 4000 block of Sunrise Avenue to investigate the murder of a 25-year-old female.

Detectives believe the victim was murdered by a male while inside the residence.

As a result of the investigation, detectives have developed 23-year-old Christopher Rodrigo Salguero as the suspect in this crime.

Detectives believe he may still be residing in the neighborhood with friends, and likely traveling on foot. There is no suspect vehicle information at this time.

Salguero is described as a Hispanic male, around 5'9" to 5'10" and 185 pounds. He has short black hair and a facial jewelry stud under his bottom lip. He also has tattoos on both forearms and wrists, and his last name tattooed across his upper back.

The identity of the victim and her cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
