SAN DIEGO (AP) -- The father of two missing kids is pleading with the man suspected of killing his wife and abducting one or both of his children to turn himself in.
An emotional Brett Anderson addressed his remarks at a Tuesday news conference to friend and suspect James DiMaggio, saying he could not fathom what DiMaggio was thinking.
Anderson also pleaded with his missing 16-year-old daughter Hannah to run away from DiMaggio if she got the chance.
Authorities say they believe Hannah is in grave danger.Anderson did not refer to his 8-year-old son Ethan, who is also missing.
The remains of a child were found in the burned house with the children's mother, 42-year-old Christina Anderson.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday but authorities still couldn't say whether the dead child was Ethan.
