Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Thursday was a huge day for a Retired Army Staff Sergeant in Las Vegas.
Seven years ago, Jace Badia lost his left leg in an IED attack in Iraq.
But he still ended up talking his way back into the service for two more tours of duty.
On Thursday, auto parts companies from across the nation presented him with his own Jeep.
It was remodeled from the ground up and even has a coach lift to get him into the front seat from his wheelchair.
"Having a vehicle where you can go anywhere you want to in a disabled state, it's life altering," said Retired Staff Sgt. Badia.
Most of the work was done locally by Vegas 4x4.
