Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- More than 3000 union members poured into the Las Vegas Strip for another protest.
The Culinary and Bartenders Unions said they're not happy with the way their contract talks have been going with The Cosmopolitan.
This was the fourth time this year these union members have taken to the Strip in protest, each time creating a huge traffic disruption.
This time they're joined by their brothers and sisters from the California School Employees Association, "to make sure that families that are working here get the wages they deserve," said CSEA member Clara Ramos.
The culinary workers said they have been in contract negotiations with The Cosmopolitan for more than two years.
The workers said they're striking because they want health care, job security and a guaranteed work week.
The union said it's last contract with most major properties on the Strip expired on June 1, adding that The Cosmopolitan is the only Strip property that did not sign or extend the deal.
At a previous event in March, police cited several picketers. There were no citations issued Wednesday.
