Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Culinary Union workers took to the picket lines on Saturday to bring attention to the trouble they are having reaching a deal at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower.
Contracts expired this past June and employees had been working under an extension.
They voted last month to end those extensions, allowing them to strike.
While negotiations continue, workers with the Culinary and Bartenders Unions said the talks aren't heading toward a compromise.
The picket line at the Stratosphere was the first since contract extensions ended.
The Stratosphere said it's currently negotiating in good faith with representatives of the Culinary Union and will continue to do so.
