Crews continue cleanup efforts after Grand Teton flood disaster

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- 24 hours after flood waters shut down parts of Grand Teton and made the street a watery mess, crews will be heading back out to continue their cleanup efforts.

It looked like a bunch of big puddles on Tuesday. It's a big difference from Monday when Grand Teton and Buffalo looked like a river.

KTNV Weather Forecast

On Monday, the water was too high and the current too strong to walk in. Now it's not a problem, with the water about an inch deep in the worst puddles.

Crews will be out on Tuesday to finish most of the major cleanup. Officials said it could be a few more days before all this flood water is completely cleaned up.

That's nothing compared to last fall when there was major rainfall and it took weeks to clear the water.
