Coroner identifies man shot and killed Tuesday night
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner has identified the man that was shot and killed on Sept. 10 as 46-year-old Jeffrey Craig Hand of Las Vegas.
According to police, multiple gunshots were reported at about 10:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man with an apparent gunshot in a convenience store parking lot in the 500 block of East Sahara Avenue.
Another man was found inside of an apartment in the 2500 block of Lynnwood Street. That man was later identified as the deceased.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a group of people had gathered in an alley behind the apartment complex. There was an argument between the victims and a two unidentified Hispanic adult males. The fight then became physical and one of the men pulled a gun.
No one has been arrested at this time.
