Coroner identifies man hit by bus in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner has identified the man hit by a charter bus on Thursday in North Las Vegas as 77-year-old Pablo Avila Sandoval from North Las Vegas.
The incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. According to witnesses, the man was hit by the bus as it was attempting to avoid traffic that had slowed in front of it.
Sandoval was not in a crosswalk at the time.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. It is not known if the bus driver will face any charges at this time.
This was the 9th traffic-related fatality in North Las Vegas this year.
