Construction worker's family speaks out about his tragic death

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The construction worker killed in an accident this week has been identified.
The Clark County Coroner said 26-year-old Mark Brian Lovett of Henderson died on Tuesday. His cause of death is still pending.
It happened in the 1000 block of Summerlin Center in west Las Vegas at The Shops at Summerlin construction site.
OSHA is now investigating the incident.
Mark Lovett's family is still coping with the news. They told Action News that Mark was a welding inspector and it was his third day on the job at The Shops at Summerlin.
"I'm just devastated. He was my best friend," said sister-in-law Tara Lovett.
Brother Mike Lovett said he was a family man who embraced life, "He loved being outdoors. He loved the inspection business. He loved the reports."
"What a loss. It's so sad. It really is," added Tara Lovett.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery at 7600 South Eastern Avenue.
The service is open to friends and family. It starts at 3 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m.
