Computer crash at welfare office leaves residents frustrated

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A lot of locals are frustrated after not being able to get in touch with anyone at the state welfare office.
Several Action News viewers sent emails after calling and calling and only hearing a recording.
A spokeswoman for the welfare office says that their computer system crashed on Wednesday and they don't know when it will be back up.
However, she says that it will not stop people from receiving their food stamps or other benefits. Employees simply can not access any case files at this time.
