CCSD president's ethics case could be settled
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A state ethics investigation involving the Clark County School Board president could be going away.
A hearing later this month for Carolyn Edwards is now on the back burner.
Instead, she and her council have come to a proposed settlement with the board.
If accepted at a meeting on Nov. 20, the matter will be excused.
The committee was going to decide if Edwards and Associate Superintendent Joyce Haldeman misused district resources to support a tax question on last November's ballot.
It was ultimately voted down
