Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County School District confirms that calls went out to parents at five high schools via Parent Link on Monday, warning about the Norovirus.
Cheyenne, Western, Canyon Springs, Mojave and Chaparral were all closed over Thanksgiving break, but some of the football players who were infected at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino played on their fields.
CCSD said they did this as a precautionary measure, and has not seen an outbreak of the virus at any of these schools.
However, they will have specific cleanings done in the restrooms and athletic facilities at these five schools at well.
The district is expected to send a letter home to parents on Tuesday.
