The Clark County School District's Transportation Department is preparing for the upcoming school year and urging parents to get a head start by registering their students to ride the bus as soon as possible.
CCSD bus drivers transport more than 100,000 students each day, which includes 19,000 stops and 9,000 door-to-door special needs stops.
The best way for parents/guardians to access their child's bus eligibility, bus stops, routes and times, is to click here.
Student ID number and date of birth are required to access registration information. A "live chat" option is available on the website, which allows parents to chat with a member of the Transportation Department in real time.
The Transportation Department's call center is now open and can be reached by calling (702) 799-8100.
The department's call center will continue to run until Sept. 6, on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
