Businesses on Mount Charleston happy to be open again

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Mount Charleston businesses are back open after the Carpenter 1 wildfire forced them to close for two weeks.
The Mount Charleston Lodge on Kyle Canyon reopened while the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort reopened earlier morning.
Managers at both businesses said they've lost out on the busiest weekend of the summer when the mountain closed on the 4th of July holiday and they are hoping that people will come to visit now.
A party is being held for the resident at the lodge Friday. It is the first time many of them have seen each other since being forced to leave their homes two weeks ago because of the Carpenter 1 wildfire.
The wildfire is now 95-percent contained and does not pose any danger to the public or residents.
