Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- Learning how our students are educated can be valuable information for local business owners.
That was one of the goals of Friday's "Job Shadow Program" at various Clark County School District schools.
Approximately 100 people from a variety of organizations served in a job shadow role with principals and learned about classwork, teaching tools, bell times and much more.
In the afternoon, participants met with Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky to talk about what they learned and offered suggestions for the future.
A number of business leaders exchanged insights gained from their time with the principals, and one participant summed up the day as "a fresh eye-opener to the needs and challenges of schools."
