Bacchanal Buffet's one-year-anniversary celebration continues
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is a little more than halfway through their month-long anniversary celebration.
Since opening in September 2012, the buffet has set a new standard for Las Vegas buffets.
On Aug. 30, they welcomed their one-millionth visitor Tianshu Sun.
Sun received a very special prize package to commemorate the occasion.
The buffet also hosted a benefit for Three Square Food Bank earlier in the month in celebration of their first anniversary. The dinner raised $5,000 for hungry families in Southern Nevada.
In addition, the buffet is offering complimentary line passes every Wednesday in September to Las Vegas locals with a Nevada ID. Ordinarily, these passes cost an additional $15 per person.
Last not least, a video to celebrate the buffet's one-year anniversary was also released. Click here to see it.
Bacchanal Buffet serves 3,000 to 3,500 guests per day and features more than 500 dishes.
Five new items were introduced earlier this month for the occasion including buttered chicken also known as Murgh Makimi, Thai vegetable green curry, Guinness braised short ribs, Tandoori pawns and a cassoulet.
The buffet offers 15 daily specials every day and has introduced more than 30 new dishes since it opened.
Bacchanal Buffet has been named the number one buffet in Las Vegas by USA Today, the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Weekly.
