Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An arrest report details what happened in a recent hit-and-run that injured a 16-year-old girl.

It happened on Wednesday around 2:45 p.m. in front of Clark High School on Arville, south of Pennwood.

A witness told police he was behind a van, and saw the van drive up onto the sidewalk and strike a female. The witness said he followed the van long enough to take a photo of the license plate.

The juvenile was transported to the hospital and suffered a fracture to her leg.

Police were able to locate an address from the license plate photo. When officers arrived at the apartment, they made contact with the driver's wife, who said her husband, Ronald Martin, had taken her vehicle without permission.

She also said Martin was drunk when he left the house. She called Martin and told him to come home, and he said he was downstairs at the complex.

Officers searched the complex and were able to locate Martin and take him into custody.

When officers asked Martin if he had been involved in a crash, Martin stated he could not remember anything. He then took field sobriety tests.

At CCDC, Martin voluntarily submitted to a breathalyzer test and provided two breath samples. The results were .203 and .207.

Martin is now facing felony hit and run, and driving under the influence charges.
