Fire in Primm shuts down I-15 freeway
Primm, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire in Primm on Sunday afternoon.
The fire was said to have started after a power box caught on fire.
It has not been confirmed if the fire started underground.
Some businesses were temporarily shut down, but have since reopened.
All I-15 ramps were closed to Primm Boulevard.
The Nevada Highway Patrol was on the scene assisting with traffic.
Motorists heading back to California are now able to leave town safely.
NV Energy said there were eight people without power in Primm.
