Local private fiduciary arrested for allegedly defrauding clients
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local private fiduciary has been arrested for allegedly defrauding clients, and now police are looking for other potential victims.
In May 2013, the Criminal Intelligence Section with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received information of unusual financial activity involving four clients of a Clark County Family Court appointed guardian.
It was determined that 38-year-old Patience Bristol was employed as a private professional guardian by a local company who provided contract fiduciary services to family court clients.
It was further determined Bristol had provided services to all four victims.
The preliminary investigation also revealed several thousand dollars in cash and property belonging to the victim had been misappropriated.
As a result, Bristol was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she faces charges of: Exploitation of older/vulnerable person (4 counts), obtaining money under false pretenses (3 counts) and burglary (8 counts).

A fiduciary is a person that's legally appointed and authorized to hold assests in trust for another person.
