(KTNV) -- Halloween is still more than a month away but many kids are already planning their costumes.
And, as it seems to happen every year now, another costume has come under fire.
Walmart is getting national attention after it put a costume called "Naughty Leopard" on its shelves.
The costume hit the shelves last week and the backlash started almost immediately.
Customers and parents weren't happy with the costume's suggestive name, especially since the costume was made for toddlers.
The costume itself consisted of a sleeved, knee-length dress with lace, sparkles and cat ears.
Most parents say that it wasn't the costume that they had an issue with. Just the name and what it implied.
Parent groups and women's right activists said that the costume was sending the wrong message to young girls.
Walmart has now pulled the costume from its stores and its website.
But many parents say that it should have never been there in the first place and are still upset with the giant retailer.
