Good Samaritans pull person from vehicle fire on U.S. 95
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Crews were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash, which lead to a fire on U.S. 95 northbound at Charleston.
It happened around 11:15 a.m. on Monday.
The freeway was completely closed where the incident happened, but one lane of traffic is now open to drivers.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said one vehicle crashed into another that was parked on the shoulder of the freeway. The two vehicles then burst into flames.
One person was transported to UMC with non-life threatening injuries and burns. Crews said the person was pulled out of the vehicle by Good Samaritans.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said the crash may have been caused by distracted driving.
No one was in the parked car when the crash happened.
