Flood advisory issued for portions of Clark County
Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for minor flooding of urban areas in central Clark County.
The advisory was scheduled to stay in place until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, but was canceled at 3:35 p.m.
At 2:30 p.m., Doppler Radar indicated heavy rain from a thunderstorm west of the Las Vegas Beltway from Flamingo Road to Russell Road.
Locations impacted included areas west of the Las Vegas Beltway near Flamingo, Tropicana and Russell Roads, Red Rock Canyon, Red Rock Canyon Campground, Highway 159 and the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Loop.
