St. Louis, MI (KTNV)-- The FBI is searching for a man who allegedly robbed 10 banks in 5 states, starting in the St. Louis area.
He's been dubbed the "I-55 bandit" by authorities, and police are searching for the suspect across several states around the country.
The suspect, dressed in a hat and dark glasses at each heist is said to have handed every teller a note demanding money calmly.
His spree has now spread from Missouri, to Illinois, to Maryland, West Virginia, and now to Tennessee over the span of 30 days.
In all, he's robbed 10 banks in the past 3 months; while attempting to rob at least two others.
The I-55 bandit has been described as a white male in his early to mid 20's, 6 feet 3 inches tall, thin with brown or strawberry blonde hair.
Investigators are hoping the public will help nab him.
Digital ads have been placed around the country, and authorities hope to nab the suspect before he strikes again.
