Police investigating robbery, shooting of Las Vegas cab driver

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are looking for two suspects in a recent robbery and shooting of a local cab driver.

Police said two suspects got into a cab and directed the driver to take them to the area of Bonanza and Eastern.

Once they arrived, one of the suspects pointed a gun at the cab driver and demanded money. That suspect then proceeded to shoot the cab driver one time before both suspects fled on foot with the cab driver's money.

The cab driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Suspect No. 1 was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-35 years old, heavy set with a goatee and mustache.

Suspect No. 2 was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 18-20 years old with a skinny build.

A similar incident happened in the area of Flamingo and Arville on Sept. 1. Police are looking for the suspects in that case as well.
