Pahrump, NV (KTNV) -- State Route 160 has been closed indefinitely due to a mudslide caused by flash flooding.
Nevada Highway Patrol said several cars were stuck near SR-160 and Tecopa Road near Pahrump.
NHP said SR-160 is closed in both directions after a flash flood caused up to three feet of mud and debris from the Carpenter 1 wildfire flowing down the road.
Vehicles are being turned away at mile marker 11 on the Las Vegas side.
NHP encourages drivers to use an alternate route.
