Police issues warning about drive-thru robberies

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are advising customers at local fast-food restaurants to be careful when ordering food in the drive thru.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, at least 5 customers were robbed in the month of August as they waited for their food in the drive-thru lane.

In each case, an unknown black male with a gun approached the customers and demanded money.

No information was provided by police where the robberies took place.
