Golden State Warriors new champs of NBA Summer League
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The NBA Summer League has come to an end for another year.
In the end, the Golden State Warriors were crowned champions of the summer league.
The Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns, 91 to 77 on Monday night, in the 61st game of the summer season.
The games tipped off more than a week ago and featured 22 teams competing in at least five games each.
The Warriors ended up being the top seed before the final game and the Suns were ranked third overall.
The games also broke last year's attendance record. More than 62,000 people attended this year; that's 10,000 more than in 2012.
