Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Chinatown, Las Vegas area took the brunt of the storm on Friday night.

Streets were flooded, trees were torn down and the power was still out Saturday morning.

At the Shadowbrook Apartment Homes on Wynn Road, trees collapsed onto a parking structure, landing on at least two vehicles.

The trees were around 50-feet tall.

On Saturday, cleanup was underway in and around Chinatown.

A large tree also fell on an apartment building in that same area. The woman who lives inside the apartment said it was a frightening experience.

"I can't believe that it actually happened. It's really surreal to me that it actually happened and occurred like that. I didn't think it was going to be this bad right here," said Natasha Yzeta.

Owners of the vehicles that were crushed, said they're just waiting on someone to remove the tree so they can continue with the cleanup and get back to their lives.

On the Las Vegas Strip, at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, there were problems at Gilley's Bar and Saloon.

People inside reported seeing the roof buckle from all the rain, then collapse, causing water to pour into the restaurant.

One viewer told Action News the water rose several inches off the floor.
