Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One woman was hurt and a man has died after police said someone shot them.

Las Vegas police rushed out Tuesday morning at 10:20 a.m. after getting a call about shots fired inside the Van's Oasis Trailer Park on Las Vegas Boulevard near Lamb.

Police said the man is armed and dangerous and they want the public to be on the lookout.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Homicide Sgt. Matt Sanford said they are currently looking for a black adult male of medium build, who is driving a 2007 Grey Saturn Vue with a Nevada physical handicap plate 96679.

Both victims were rushed to University Medical Center.

The woman is in stable condition at the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The man died at the hospital. Their identities and a motive are still unconfirmed.

Neighbors who spoke to Action News described both victims as caring and helpful residents.

A man who knows the victims believes the shooter is not a resident but is a relative of someone who works there. While some said it's usually a peaceful place, some feel otherwise.

Mike Dustin who is a nearby neighbor, said he wasn't surprised, "There are a lot of different comings-and-goings in this park. Metro is here at least a couple times a week for one reason or another."

Las Vegas Metro is urging anyone with information about this case or the suspect, contact police immediately.
