Las Vegas man pleads guilty to stolen goods charges

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas man pleaded guilty on Monday to federal charges that he stole more than $300,000 in jewelry from people at golf courses in multiple states, including Nevada.

The man then sold the stolen goods at trade shows, jewelry stores and pawn shops.

47-year-old Jeffrey Cochran pleaded guilty to two counts of possession and sale of stolen goods.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. and faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count.
